Overview
Amy commenced working with the firm as the Receptionist in 2006 while completing her university studies. Amy has practiced as a solicitor with Barkus Doolan Winning since being admitted in 2011.
Amy is a Senior Associate at the firm and is highly skilled in all areas of family law including property, spouse maintenance, child support and parenting matters. Amy prides herself on her eye to detail, and knowing when to obtain advice from experts in other fields to ensure a tailored approach is adopted in complex matters.
Amy’s precision and empathy for clients is a unique combination that allows her to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients through negotiation and if necessary, litigation. Amy has represented clients in a broad range of disputes, and has particular experience in financial matters involving detailed corporate and trust structures, as well difficult parenting cases involving allegations of abuse and family violence.
Amy was recognised as a “Rising Star” in 2018 – 2023 by “Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Market“.
